Ravenswood is Greater Together
What makes us different? As a young chamber, GRCC has been able to grow and develop programs tailored specifically to this eclectic business community. Our flexible, collaborative, and inclusive approach allows us to address the complex needs of our members — from industrial manufacturers, retailers, service providers and restaurants, to start ups, artisans, non-profit organizations and everything in between.
We’ve got momentum behind us and a bright future ahead. We want you to be a part of it. We’re Greater Together.
Our Mission
We are guided by the belief that creativity, sustainable living, and diverse industry position Ravenswood as a destination neighborhood. We create programs and provide services that connect the dots between businesses, residents, non-profit organizations, local government and area schools.

GRCC Committees
Industrial & Manufacturing Business Committee
This group serves as an advisory committee to the City of Chicago and helps assess the critical needs, challenges, and trends of the Ravenswood Industrial Corridor. The committee meets quarterly to guide GRCC’s strategy for growing and supporting manufacturing in the City’s northeast region.
Zoning & Development Committee
The Zoning & Development Committee stays abreast of zoning issues happening in the Ravenswood Industrial Corridor and community at large. Members review proposals, attend community meetings, and prepare written statements for the Alderman’s office supporting or denying zoning/development requests.
Malt Row Committee
This committee works to understand and address the needs of the thriving craft beverage industry in Ravenswood, Bowmanville, and North Center. Comprised of industry leaders and stake holders, the Malt Row Committee meets quarterly to discuss opportunities for collaboration, industry-specific challenges, marketing initiatives, and available resources.
Special Events Committee
The Special Events Committee supports GRCC staff in the planning and implementation of community events and programming. This includes support for and volunteering at the Ravenswood On Tap craft beer and music fest, Ravenswood ArtWalk: Tour of Arts & Industry, and Taste of Ravenswood.
Ravenswood Public Art Committee
This group is made up of local artists and arts professionals who provide guidance, support, and feedback related to public art projects coordinated by the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and Ravenswood Community Council.
