Joseph Giagrande is co-owner and operator of Lucila’s Alfajores, a commercial bakery in the Ravenswood Industrial Corridor that specializes in the production and distribution of handcrafted Argentine cookies called alfajores. He also lectures as an Adjunct Professor of Economics and Finance at colleges and businesses in the Chicagoland area. Prior to co-founding Lucila’s Homemade LLC, Mr. Giagrande held numerous positions in the financial markets including monetary policy work at the Federal Reserve, Fixed-Income Portfolio and Risk Management, and Proprietary Derivatives Trading. He holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance and Economics from New York University. Mr. Giagrande currently resides in Chicago with his wife and business partner, Lucila, and two children.
