I graduated from Ball State in 2012 with a degree in Public Relations and then moved to Chicago in the Fall. After interning for the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade and working downtown at the Cheesecake Factory, I finally found my home at Hazel. I worked my way from sales associate for Hazel Apparel to an assistant manager and social media assistant. In March 2020, Hazel needed to pivot and asked me to create and manage our website and ecommerce site, as well as take on their social media and marketing efforts full-time. I have loved helping Hazel grow over the last few years and now have my own business with several clients in the Chicago area that I assist with marketing, social media, and branding.
I love bringing Ravenswood together through events and lifting up our small business community. I have loved this neighborhood since I moved here in 2012 and have enjoyed watching the growth and change we’ve experienced over the years. Neighbors working together to support and better their community is inspiring to watch, let alone be a part of.
