It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Pride Month in Chicago kicked off on June 4th with the appearance a rare double rainbow, dashing vibrantly across the sky after a day of downpour. There are certain moments that move everyone to stop whatever they’re doing, put down their worries, and simply—look up, together, at something beautiful.
It was a striking reminder: in uncertain times, there is always light to be found. This Pride Month, Ravenswood is proud to be a safe and welcoming home for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
We recognize that our diversity is our strength; that our differences bring us closer together, and that this closeness is what allows us to soar to new heights. Ravenswood wouldn’t be where it is today without the accomplished, impressive, and endlessly creative voices of LGBTQ+ individuals helping to shape our neighborhood.
