Ravenswood Little Free Library Survey

Each year at Ravenswood ArtWalk, kids who attend the festival get to participate in a hands-on building project. Under the guidance of instructors from BitSpace, these young people work together using power tools to create and decorate an original play structure (an “Exquisite Fort”). In 2023, BitSpace also helped participants design and construct a brand new, community-crafted, Little Free Library.

Now, you get to help us decide where to install it this spring!

We’ve identified 3 spots along the ArtWalk path where the Little Library might be most used by young neighbors. The Wilson location is near a kids-focused “People Space” and several local schools. The Montrose location is close to Ravenswood Elementary and across the street from Lillstreet Art Center. The Berteau location is near the entrance to events like the ArtWalk and Ravenswood On Tap, and close to the German International School.
