The Ravenswood Community Council (501c3) is a network of creative professionals devoted to promoting a vibrant, sustainable, healthy, and connected Ravenswood. Our initiatives include supporting local artists and investing in public art; community greening and placemaking; advocating for affordable housing; and advocating for increased resources for older adults.
As a part of our commitment to supporting creative industry, RCC is launching a new Artist Membership program that will expand access to resources and opportunities for local arts professionals.
RCC Membership Benefits for Artists
By joining the Ravenswood Community Council, artists will receive:
- Subscription to RCC’s quarterly “Opportunities for Artists” email newsletter that includes public art RFP/RFQs, professional development and networking opportunities, grants and government resources, vendor and exhibition opportunities, and more.
- Inclusion in our new “Arts Resources for Small Businesses” guide
- Early access to RFP/RFQs for RCC/GRCC public art projects
- Discounted tickets to RCC/GRCC networking and professional development workshops
- Discounted vendor fees for Ravenswood area events and festivals
RCC Artist Memberships are $25/year and available to artists living and working in the City of Chicago. Though our focus is on supporting creative professionals and projects in Ravenswood and its surrounding communities, many of our offerings will be relevant to artists from across the city.
