Ever wonder what happens when a botanist marries a designer? You get TERRACE – a haven where furniture meets foliage in the most stylish way possible. With a commitment to craftsmanship, inclusivity, and community, TERRACE is not just a store – it’s a testament to resilience, diversity, and the power of design to bring people together!

Taken at face value, we are a Furniture, Rug, Lighting, and Botanical showroom, but we hope you see us as much more than just a plant or furniture store. Our hope is to provide a relaxed environment for you to shop without pressure, seek interior design and botanical guidance, browse for ideas in a live curated setting, or just enjoy a sojourn from your hectic day. Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Ravenswood Chamber is guided by the belief that creativity, sustainable living, and diverse industry position Ravenswood as a destination neighborhood. We create programs and provide services that connect the dots between businesses, residents, non-profit organizations, local government and area schools.

Our non-profit organization serves as a business and community resource for entrepreneurs in Ravenswood and its surrounding communities, including Bowmanville, Lincoln Square, and North Center. We work with Chicago’s Department of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection by operating as one of its Neighborhood Business Development Centers, and with the Department of Planning & Development as a partner in its Local Industrial Retention Initiative. GRCC is also the service-provider for SSA#31, which provides additional resources for businesses and property owners in Ravenswood’s main commercial corridors. Click here to learn more about who we are.

Uptown Chamber of Commerce

Welcome to Uptown, Chicago’s entertainment hub and home to nearly 60,000 residents. Nestled along Lake Michigan about six miles north of downtown, Uptown was once dubbed “the Loop’s little brother.” Ever welcoming, and ever evolving, the neighborhood is a vibrant, living tapestry—as rich in history as it is in culture. Settled in the 1830s, Uptown has a colorful history as a hotspot for arts and entertainment. The neighborhood’s iconic Prohibition-era venues and ornate architecture are as beloved today as they were in the early decades of the 20th century.

Uptown has long been home to social activists and advocates, immigrants and refugees, and artists and entrepreneurs of every stripe, all of whom have helped shape the area as it is today—a microcosm of Chicago itself—a neighborhood of big shoulders and rich contrasts. Drawn to its ample green space, vast lakefront, historic nightlife, global culinary offerings, and agencies that care for those in need, a new generation of visitors and residents are discovering what long-time fixtures have always known—that Uptown is a community where all belong. LGBT Chamber of Commerce

LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois’ mission is to promote economic opportunities for the LGTB+ community by being an advocate and resource for all member businesses that encourage equality. We envision a bright, prosperous future for all Chamber members. The key to this vision is unity, which we foster through promotional, networking, and advocacy programs. We believe that by aligning our common interests, member businesses will continue to grow and thrive.

Today the Chamber serves a roster of over 300 Members, a number that increases almost daily. These members are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) business owners, as well as gay-supportive businesses. Together they employ over 2,000 people in the Chicago area, with gross revenues that exceed $200 million. Since gay and lesbian tourism brings an estimated $300 million a year to Chicago, it’s no surprise that the city has discovered the viability of supporting the LGBT community.
