“Spider” Meka is an internationally recognized portrait photographer who does not believe in “photogenic”. She accurately represents the beauty of character. Digging deeper, Meka is a compassionate artist, a truth-seeker, and a healer, disrupting what we think about the beauty industry and changing belief systems behind what we see in the mirror.
Meka herself will be giving live demos during ArtWalk with audience participation to show how she works to bring comfort to whomever is being photographed and create on-the-spot stunning portraits. Meka wants you to think of her when you or someone you know struggles being in front of a camera and when there is opportunity for her to speak on personal brand and self-image.
