MV Perry is a young Chicago-based author and disability and mental illness advocacy. He holds a Masters in Public Policy and Administration and a JD, and has been in the mental health system as a consumer, organizer, activist, policy advisor, and social worker. His writing is informed by his years of work, lived experience and study.
