Join the 46th Ward office for a free, in-person Know Your Rights Training focusing on immigration issues that impact small business owners and employees. This session will cover the following:

  • Your legal rights during encounters with immigration enforcement
  • What to expect if ICE comes to your workplace
  • How to safeguard your business and employees against unwarranted ICE visits
  • Best practices for I-9 audits
  • Where to find reliable legal resources

This event is free to attend, however advanced registration is required as space is limited. Attendance will be capped at 150 participants. Training will be presented by the Indo-American Center, Arise Chicago, and the City of Chicago Committee on Immigrant and Refugee Rights.

This event is hosted by 46th Ward Alderwoman Angela Clay.
