The Park After Dark Haunted House at Chase Park

Can you survive a walk in the park? Every year, the old theater at Chase Park transforms into a brand-new haunted house, never repeating the same theme twice. This truly unique local Halloween tradition returns this year as “Outbreak, A Zombie Survival Adventure.”

Chase Park Haunted House

On a cold October night in 1954, the Morris family gathered at Chase Park, under the soft glow of the chandeliers, a wedding was to take place. The bride, adorned in lace and pearls, was the picture of joy, unaware of the sinister shadows that crept along the edges of her happiness. In a moment of mischief, her bridesmaids found an ancient Ouija board, deciding to summon a spirit for a harmless thrill.

As the planchette moved with a life of its own, spelling out a name they did not recognize, a cold wind swept through the room, extinguishing the candles. Laughter turned to screams as the entity they called forth was not a benign spirit but a demonic presence hungry for the light of living souls. It set its sights on the bride, the brightest light of all. The celebration turned to horror as the entity, unseen but as real as the terror it invoked, claimed her life and the lives of everyone in attendance, leaving behind a legend that would haunt the park forever.

The Ouija board, once a mere game, became a reminder that some doors, once opened, can never be closed. But was it truly an accident, or did someone want the bride dead? Find out this October, as you are cordially invited to return to that fateful night and solve the mystery 70 years in the making.

This attraction is PG-13. Tickets must be purchased online. The Park After Dark is open from on 10/18-10/20 and 10/25-10/27. 4701 N Ashland Ave, $13-15 More Info
