Discover captivating artworks by Laurie Shaman (ceramics), Emily Rapport (painting), and Andrew Steiner (photography) at their working studio. Laurie Shaman makes tabletop and wall pieces in porcelain or stoneware with an eye on developing surfaces for her hand drawn imagery depicting scenes that combine her interests in travel, art history and the natural world. Emily Rapport, owner of Eat Paint Studio, paints vacant lots, down-at-the-heels homes, gas stations, fast food restaurants, and El tracks populate the distinctly American landscape of her recent work. Andrew Steiner is a documentary photographer whose work has been exhibited at galleries across the country. The artists plan to donate a percentage of all proceeds to a local nonprofit organization.
