Join the GRCC on Wednesday, March 11th for our annual State of the Neighborhood panel discussion. State of the Neighborhood is a great way to meet the aldermen of Ravenswood! We’ll be welcoming 47th Ward Alderman Matt Martin, 40th Ward Alderman Andre Vasquez, and 46th Ward James Cappleman’s Chief of Staff Tessa Feher.
Offering concerned business owners, residents, and community stakeholders the opportunity to discuss neighborhood issues, State of the Neighborhood is a great way to make your voice heard. Learn about aldermanic initiatives and programs or ask questions about the issues facing the community and city. We will include a mix of pre-screened questions and open discussion. We encourage you to submit questions for the aldermen through our online form.
Nick Yassan, a local resident, business owner, and SSA #31 Commissioner, will moderate the discussion. Lunch will include a selection of offerings from one of our neighborhood’s favorite spots, Roots Pizza on Lawrence Ave.
With limited tickets available, we encourage you to purchase your tickets soon! As we bring neighborhood business owners and residents together for a meal and a discussion, we hope to see you there.
