Join the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce at Ravenswood Supportive Living for an afternoon Lunch & Learn. First, you’ll enjoy lunch from Tuscan Hen and presentations from experts in their fields, including time for Q&A. Then we’ll move to the patio for fresh air and open networking!

Registration closes at noon on Friday, July 15. Advanced registration is required. Tickets include admission, lunch, and refreshments.

What to Expect

As an entrepreneur, you own a business that likely accounts for a significant portion of your net worth. That means it’s important to plan for how your business will be handled in the event of your death or disability. Without proper planning, the business you’ve worked hard to build could be in jeopardy.

At July’s Lunch & Learn & Network, James Erwin of Erwin Law will provide an overview of Exit Planning strategies for small businesses, including buy-sell agreements, succession plans, organizational structuring and more. James will cover key documents, processes, and plans that business owners should consider implementing for a peaceful and successful transition to retirement.

After that, Russ Henrichsen of Inclusive Funeral Care will share tips and resources for Legacy and Memorial Planning. New to Ravenswood, Inclusive Funeral Care helps business leaders and families pre-prepare for memorial, tribute, and funeral services. Their pre-planning process helps ensure that your wishes are known, so they can be acted upon when the time comes.

Once our Q&A has concluded, we’ll close out the event with some in-person, outdoor business networking.
