New Dance Studio Has Ravenswood Buzzing

The historic Ravenswood Industrial Corridor has long been a home for creatives of all types. Over decades, countless painters, sculptors, musicians, glass blowers, dancers, metalsmiths, actors, woodworkers, and artisans of all varieties have opened their studios, galleries, workshops and schools in this dynamic stretch of Chicago’s north side. Even amidst a pandemic this community continues to grow; most recently with the opening of The Hive at 4706 N Ravenswood Ave.

Founders Seth Robinson and Jeff Wolfe refer to The Hive as “a space created to bring dance education to the greater Chicago community.” Designed as a drop-in friendly studio for creatives, The Hive will offer open adult and youth classes in a variety of styles to all experience levels.
