While networking events can sometimes be a little awkward for humans, dogs are naturals when it comes to making new connections. Over the last year of working with Ravenswood businesses we’ve noticed alot of small business owners have dogs, many of whom hang out on-site during the work day. That got us thinking- why not bring the pups out and let them help break the ice?
Join us after work on Friday, January 29th at Urban Pooch’s Fitness and Training Center for our first ever Dog Friendly Networking event. Take advantage of this exciting opportunity to make valuable connections with other neighborhood professionals while letting your dog mingle and romp throughout this incredible new facility. The Urban Pooch team will be on-hand giving Agility, Obedience and FitPAWS demonstrations, and they’ll have an area where you can network with your pooch off-leash.
Snacks for humans will be available in the form of food from Zaytune Mediterranean Grill and a selection of beers from Empirical Brewery.
Spaces for this one of a kind event are likely to go fast. Advance tickets are $8 for GRCC members and $12 for non-members. IF available, tickets at the door will cost $10 for GRCC members and $15 for non-members.
Online ticket sales end at noon on Thursday, January 28th.
