At the dawn of the digital age, an elite figure skater and her manager-husband navigate towards the Olympics that will change their lives forever. Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce welcomes a panel of state level elected officials to discuss the current climate of small business in Illinois. Participating officials include: State Treasurer Michael Frerichs, State Senator Heather Steans, State Representative Ann Williams & State Representative Greg Harris. Attendees will enjoy lunch catered by Vidalia Restaurant at Ravenwood’s Artifact Events.
From the hum of conversation in the restaurant, it was clear that the 1 hour allotted for small group discussion wouldn’t suffice. The women at each table were deeply engaged in dialogue around their stories – the similarities and differences in their professional experiences – across generations. Vibrant conversation – and delicious lunch – forges new relationships and opens up new ideas, which was precisely the thinking for the WLiB Committee in hosting this event. And this event did not disappoint.
