Networking events can sometimes be awkward for humans, but dogs are naturals when it comes to making new friends. Let your pup do the ice-breaking at our January mixer: Where Bark Meets Business!
Back by popular demand, Where Bark Meets Business offers attendees the opportunity to make valuable connections with other neighborhood professionals while letting their dogs mingle and romp throughout Urban Pooch’s incredible Training & Fitness Center. The Urban Pooch team will be on-hand giving Agility, Obedience and FitPAWS demos, as well as hosting an area where you can network with your pooch off-leash.
Admission includes food from Sweet Virginia’s Kitchen and drinks from Begyle Brewing. The event is open to all business owners, not just chamber members or those in Ravenswood. Bringing a dog is not required, but is certainly encouraged.
Spaces for this one of a kind event are likely to go fast. Advance tickets are $8 for GRCC members and $12 for non-members. If available, tickets at the door will cost $10 for GRCC members and $15 for non-members.

- Ravenswood Networking Event Goes to the Dogs: “Though some folks revel in networking, plenty of others would rather sign up for a root canal. After noticing how many dogs were welcome in offices and shops up and down Ravenswood, Margaret O’Conor, the chamber’s development director, figured an event open to two-legged attendees and their four-legged friends would be ‘a slam dunk.’” Patti Wetli, DNAinfo Chicago
